Christmas Traditions Photo and Story Contest

Submit your favorite Christmas tree photo and story of your family’s Christmas traditions, including which location you purchased your Wahmhoff Farms Christmas tree from. The winner will receive a FREE Christmas tree ($75 value) for the following year and will be featured in our retail flyer next November, as well as be featured on our Facebook page. The Runner-Up will receive a FREE Christmas tree ($50 value)! Share your story! Congratulations to our Christmas Traditions Contest $75 Grand Prize Winner: The DeHaan Family

     
Our family has been going to Wahmhoff Farms since before my husband and I were married. Our first tree together in 2011, we started a tradition of taking a “slice” out of the trunk, as a keepsake. That tradition has since  continued through our marriage and now we enjoy coming out to the farm with our kids. They look forward to this every year! Now they remind dad to cut off our “slice“ and they write the memory on the slice each year. They
love wandering through the trees, sometimes our dog tags along, searching for the perfect tree for our home. The popcorn at the end has also quickly become a favorite! Seeing the “before” and “after” of our tree is always so magical and a great way to kick off the Christmas season for us!

$50 Runner-Up: The Vanvalkenburg Family

We started our Christmas tree tradition when my 27 year old stepson was 8 he has since moved out and started a family of his own. We adopted our son Zac through foster care and started over and finally after 18 long year of trying to conceive our own child we had Grayson the little boy in the picture. My adult son and his wife now comes with us every year with our grandchildren to get a tree. So we are keeping the tradition alive with our grandchildren and our children still at home it’s a crazy amazing story and I am grateful to God for our blessings. We started coming to your tree farm 3 years ago and fell in love thank you so much. Our grands and our boys.
