Black Hills Spruce evergreen tree grown at Wahmhoff Farms Nursery in Southwest Michigan, and is ideal for B&B Nursery Stock.

The Black Hills Spruce is very similar in appearance to a White Spruce, with dark green to bluish needles, but this tree tends to be a slower-growing tree, maintaining that “youthful image” for years! It is popular as both a landscape tree.

Recommended for growing in Zones 2-6.

Canaan Fir evergreen tree grown at Wahmhoff Farms Nursery in Southwest Michigan, and is ideal for B&B Nursery Stock.

A mix between Balsam and Fraser, the Canaan is highly adaptable to many soil conditions, including wetter soil and drought, shaded areas or direct sunlight: this is one tough tree! Late bud break and adaptability to a variety of soils makes it an excellent landscape tree. It has short, soft needles that tend to be medium to dark green on the top, and silverish-blue on the underside.

The Colorado Blue Spruce is known for its attractive bluish foliage, pyramidal shape and strong branches, and is a favorite among landscapers.

The Concolor Fir is an elegant tree with silver-green soft foliage that is displayed in an upright, sweeping manner. Medium length needles and pleasing branch habits make this a most attractive and desirable landscape tree. This tree works well in full sun or partial shade, has medium growing habits, and is adaptable to many soil conditions, and adult trees are breathtaking!

A true fir, the Fraser Fir is closely related to Balsam Fir, and is known for its dark green needles and silvery undersides. A wonderful fragrance combined with upright branching make this tree very popular as a landscape tree. This tree requires cool, well-drained soils and plenty of water.

The Norway Spruce is a majestic, dark green evergreen with a conical shape and draping branches. It is the fastest growing of the spruce varieties, and has short, dark green needles. It will grow reasonably well in shaded conditions, but does great in direct sunlight. This tree is a very fast grower and is often used by the landscape industry in wind-row projects or privacy fences. It is a tough tree and grows well in most conditions, and makes a beautiful and majestic Landscape tree.

This tree is known for its beautiful blue foliage and its majestic, swooping branches. The Serbian Spruce is one tough tree, adapting to many different climates and soil conditions. It grows to be a tall, spire-like tree with two-toned needles that shimmer from a distance. Attractive upswept pendulous branches and upright symmetrical shape, it produces purple cones that mature brown, this is a popular landscape tree!

The White Pine is renowned for its elegant, symmetrical shape and beautiful soft needles. It is a fast grower, often used for a natural border in the landscape industry. This rapid growing, five-needled pine is pyramidal shaped when young, becoming umbrella shaped with age. Needles are long, soft and light green. Widely used as a backdrop for flowering shrubs, shapes well.
