Balsam Fir (Abies Balsamea) Seedlings & Transplants
This Balsam Fir evergreen tree is grown at Wahmhoff Farms Nursery in Southwest Michigan, and is ideal for use as a Christmas tree and for B&B Nursery Stock.
A soft, waxy, deep green, aromatic fir tree that enjoys sun and likes cool, moist, well-drained soil conditions as a landscape tree. Its’ dark green, fragrant foliage contributes to the desirability of this species as a Christmas tree. The strong branches of the Balsam Fir permit the use of heavier ornaments. Soft needles and a straight stem have made this a traditional favorite for years.
Recommended for Zones 3-6.

The Black Hills Spruce is very similar in appearance to a White Spruce, with dark green to bluish needles, but this tree tends to be a slower-growing tree, maintaining that “youthful image” for years! It is popular as both a landscape tree and a cut Christmas tree.

This Canaan Fir evergreen tree is grown at Wahmhoff Farms Nursery in Southwest Michigan, and is ideal for use as a Christmas tree and for B&B Nursery Stock.
A true fir genetically intermediate between Balsam and Fraser, the Canaan is highly adaptable to many soil conditions, including wetter soil and drought, shaded areas or direct sunlight: this is one tough tree! Late bud break and adaptability to a variety of soils makes it an excellent landscape tree, and because of its’ open-growing patterns and strong branches the Canaan Fir is gaining considerable popularity as a cut Christmas tree . It has short, soft needles that tend to be medium to dark green on the top, and silverish-blue on the underside.

A true fir, the Fraser Fir is closely related to Balsam Fir, and is known for its dark green needles and silvery undersides. A wonderful fragrance combined with upright branching, straight stems and excellent needle retention make this tree very popular as a cut Christmas tree. This tree is also used as a landscape tree, and grows best in cool, moist, well-drained soil conditions. It requires well-drained soils and plenty of water.

Korean Fir (Abies Koreana) Seedlings & Transplants
This Korean Fir evergreen tree is grown at Wahmhoff Farms Nursery in Southwest Michigan, and is ideal for use as a Christmas tree.
The Korean Fir looks very similar to the Fraser Fir, with similar branching and needle retention when used as a cut Christmas tree. It has dark green, short needles, densely arranged above the shoot and spread tightly beneath, and the undersides of the needles have two white bands or are all white – a very flashy tree!

Norway Spruce (Picea Abies) Seedlings & Transplants, Christmas Trees, and Balled & Burlapped (B&B) Nursery Stock:
This Norway Spruce evergreen tree is grown at Wahmhoff Farms Nursery in Southwest Michigan, and is ideal for use as a Christmas tree and for B&B Nursery Stock.
The Norway Spruce is a majestic, dark green evergreen with a conical shape and draping branches. It is the fastest growing of the spruce varieties, and has short, dark green needles. It will grow reasonably well in shaded conditions, but does great in direct sunlight. This tree is a very fast grower and is often used by the landscape industry in wind-row projects or privacy fences. It is a tough tree and grows well in most conditions, and makes a beautiful and majestic Christmas and Landscape tree.
